Mark and I were talking about life, happiness, and relationships (Mark is an amazing, well-traveled gentleman rhino member who reads 200 books per year). Our conversation led to him saying: “If you’re dating a guy and you ask him ‘what makes you want to get out of bed in the morning’ and he doesn’t know the answer, he’s not ready.” So I asked myself, what makes me want to get out of bed in the morning?
Here’s my ‘what makes me want to get out of bed in the morning’ list:
1) I love breakfast, especially if I eat breakfast while reading, writing, or listening to podcasts.
2) I love going to Camp Rhino and seeing everyone there.
3) I love my staff at Camp Rhino. They make me happy every day.
4) I want to crack the code for weight-loss, health, forming habits and longevity. This drives me every day.
It’s why I hired two dietitians and 1 nutritionist to help us with our program. It’s why I recently joined a coach-mentoring program so my coaches can keep learning and leveling up.
What makes some people stick to our 6 Week Challenge and easily change their lifestyle versus others who fall off after a few months? What makes it easy for some people to lose weight and tougher for others?
Yes, we know how to help people lose weight and we have helped thousands of people reach their goals, but it’s the 3 people who can’t seem to lose weight no matter what that drive me to keep seeking answers for them. I have promised these 3 people that I will not rest until we figure out how to help them once and for all.
For years my goal was to solve my own personal weight loss problems while helping others do the same. Now, I have been at my goal weight for over 2 years. My ONE focus is to figure out how to help others change their habits and enjoy their new lifestyle. We have been successful with our 6 Week Challenge, and hundreds of people are still following the lifestyle they adapted through the challenge, but I want to figure out how to help everyone else, too. I want to figure out why some people complete the challenge and go on to live a healthy life forever after the challenge and why some people go back to unhealthy habits.
The more I know about you, the more it will help me find these answers. What makes you want to get out of bed in the morning?
